I am looking for a good way to organize knowledge, which maybe a little different than what people are doing here. While getting older, I feel more difficult to memorize information and I have this idea about creating a way to instruct the brain only to memorize how I organize/where I store the knowledge. So if need this knowledge, I can easily recall via the LOGIC organization. This sounds like a memorization skill but it is a bit complicated in the way that this is a systemic way to remember.

    Almost done 2 years ago

I have been cleaning, purging, packing, storing, washing, and whatevering for the last week. I am almost at 100%, just a few more messes and minor details. Soon, my home will be completely clean and clutter free, just the way I like it :)

Google helped me a lot. 2 years ago

I’ve been trying to get organized a lot. Google has helped me a lot with calendar planning and scheduling. I use G-mail all the time, and Google Calendar… along with Google Notebook and all those other things.

Okay, now before I sound like I’m promoting Google too much… I’ll stop. _ I’ve bought some books that have 2007 and 2008 in them that I use as a hard copy if I’m not online to use Google. My grandmother bought me a small whiteboard where I drew a calendar and keep track of things… That helps a lot. Now I just wish my room and desk looked clean and organized. Laziness makes it hard to be organized. :(

go to www.diyplanner.com if planners help you. It really has been helping me get more organised. I printed of the planner parts that I feel are useful to me, and even made a few of my own. I have set up my binder planner which works for me, not anyone else. I can customise it for how I need it.
I also spent about a week going through all my things, throwing everything out that I dont need, sorting and re-organising. I finally feel like I am getting somewhere with this!

There is too much paper being used in the world, lol. Where is all this junk mail coming from? :)

The all-powerful binder 3 years ago

Got this idea on a web site. I got a 2” binder and a pack of dividers, and I’ve spent the last few weeks gathering all my projects and hobby notes and putting them in. I have separate areas for my writing projects, genealogy research, exercise plan, favorite recipes, software projects, etc. plus lots of spare paper for notes. I keep the binder with me all the time, and now whenever I have spare time, my goals and materials are right there with me, and I can put my time to the best possible use. It has especially helped with writing, cooking and exercising. I’ve cut WAY down on the amount of time I spend hunting for things. I love my new system!

Starting with my car 3 years ago

I cleaned out my car! Inside, trunk, glove box, whole 9 yards. I’m so happy! I could never find anything in it. Next comes the house…
