jane it's not so bad.
He’s a maine coon, he can’t help it! I’ve gotten used to the ubiquitous clusters of fur rolling through the apartment, errant strands on my water glass, and white hairs woven through the fabric of all my dark clothes, but it’s no good for my brother, who gets it in his 2-day growth of beard. It’s like velcro and he can’t stand it. I need to give JJ a good brushing daily – and besides, he likes getting brushed. I just don’t particularly like it. All the fur wafts up and through the air and I haven’t found a good brush for actually collecting it. But it’s gotta be done. I like the idea of making it a routine part of the day. I think I’ll set a time for it, like you guys mentioned. That sounds like a good way of doing it.

So my cats name is jason. I love him dearly. One of the problems with him is his hair. That might be a major problem actually. His hair is EVERYWHERE gets in my food, on my face, in my own hair, countertop, floor, bed and just everywhere, it like floats through the air. My whole family is complaining. I’ve basically given up learned to except it, and bought a lint roller. But combing him is a pain. He doesn’t like to be brushed. He tries to bite or scratch me. But even if I can comb him a little its better than nothing. I need to buy some catnip that distracts him for a little while while I have my way with him.
-Pic of him when he was a kitten a few months ago. Dont let his innocent looks fool you. He can be a little terror.

This isn’t going too well. I need to work harder at this. Maybe if I do things to make it more enjoyable and to establish this as a habit—Like making it at the same time everyday.
