different instructor today though i went at the same time. his technique challenged my practice quite a bit. so did the girl next to me who was obviously a classically trained dancer. she did everything so perfect so at first it was intimidating. eventually, i took a few deep breaths and stopped pushing myself and i went at my own pace.

so here’s to new beginnings. i read somewhere that the thought shouldn’t be whether or not we will work out but when we will work out. i have been waiting to start again on a monday and of course i set up roadblocks for myself. so today is tuesday and this is a start.
muscle memory is so amazing…though there were a few poses i couldnt get through, i managed to last through the class with no major glitches. i was even able to stretch all the way into my ustrasana (camel pose)....i had never let myself go all the way with that one and i was so surprised that i could. i will never doubt myself again.

Wow this is a vacant section now! Well I used to practice all the time, but I stopped doing it when I moved to Philly and I haven’t searched for a studio/had the money/time to do it. I want to do it again. I’m going to do it on my own (get books) OR join a class… The class sounds better…

I finally went to the studio again and it was wonderful. It’s such a beautiful place and I am lucky to live so close to it! Went to some hot yoga class…and sorta overdid. The heat makes us much more bendy…and I am hurting (still) in places I didn’t know could hurt. Can’t wait to do it again! This time, I will use some caution!

Just once! Correct! Not great, but I haven’t missed a week, so I’m doing better than than before. Last few practices have been amazing so it’s been easy to keep on practicing.

Two out of three – I went Wed and Sunday. Wednesday’s Level 1/2 was a bit much for me; I’m not quite ready for the tortoise pose.
