go on a short-term mission

Oh purfle…I’ll just decide to pass this off if I go on one that actually leaves the country…but I have certainly at least spent some time in ministry now.

I wonder if I should count it if getting paid for it? Because working for 8 weeks at a Christian camp kind of feels like I’m on a mission sometimes. Especially in that it’s very evangelistic work. Hmmm.

So I just sent a request to one of the YWAM bases for more info on their short-term trips. And about DTS. I’m having the thought of possibly taking a semester out of school to do a DTS, will have to see how this might work out.

I went to Ukraine for a week on a missions trip. A group of seven went and taught Vacation Bible School at a church in Odessa. That was in July 2001. I would go back in a heartbeat if I could.

I have been told of a possible opportunity to visit a closed country in Asia next year. We’ll see how it goes.
