I went to Paradise Island in the Bahamas last summer. It was gorgeous. The water was so clear and blue. It was definitely worth it, 1000%

On my honeymoon we stayed at Wadigi. It was absolutely amazing. I hope to go back someday.

I went to La Digue in the Seychelles in 2003. It’s a small island, no motor vehicles (except 2 vans owned by the only real hotel on the island) – everyone cycles everywhere. It’s small enough to be able to walk from one side to other (I think it’s 2.5km long) and large enough to have about 5 beaches and a small mountain with a jungle in the middle of it. It really was the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. The only drawback is that it was very, VERY expensive. However, I WILL go back one day.

The closest I’ve been to the tropics has been Palm Beach, FL. Not quite the same as the real thing.
