This ‘no TV’ thing is actually a breeze. So far anyway! I’m missing the BBC News Channel but am getting my current affairs fix from Radio 4.

Unfortunately, however, I seem to have lost a bit of the idea behind Make Week. The idea is to use the ‘extra’ time when you’d normally be watching TV to do new activities that aren’t generally in your schedule. And I’ve just been puttering quietly along doing more of what I usually do – play online, read, run errands, cuddle the cats. And tomorrow I’m going to be studying most of the afternoon …
