So I now own 6 pieces of Art – 5 APAK, 1 Lab Partners.

My last piece will be Jonathan Weiner but that wont happen for a while.

I am putting away $50 a week to buy some art. I have my eye on two pieces at the moment – one by APAK and the other by Jonathan Weiner

I got this gorgeous Cala Lily from a nice lady in England who watercolors.

It’s so much prettier than the picture. I haven’t framed it yet.

I forgot to mention, the artist is named Gary Snyder.
Though these are artist proofs (unsigned and not numbered) I didn’t care. The seller marked the price down for me to a fraction of what it was listed at when I asked him about the edition number and he realized it was unsigned/numbered. I didn’t much care. I just liked the print.

I got this little oil on wood panel(it’s 5×7 inches) and just so cute.
I don’t like cats, but this one jumped out at me.
Had to have it.

The artist is in Puerto Rico, and he sells a lot of stuff on ebay.

I need/want to buy a couple paintings for my apt. No more posters. I want canvas. Framed. And I want it to be something I love, the I love because I love it, not because I think others will like it.

I think I’d much rather make it.

I bought two prints from Mike Lupton, a relatively well known artist in Central Florida. One I gave to my Mom for Mother’s Day, the other, pictured here, I kept. The cat is by (I forget the first name)Hardiman another Florida artist. I’ve yet to hang them, but that will come soon.
