How I did it: It takes discipline to truly handle this "thing".
Lessons & tips: I really didn't know why I couldn't sleep. Once I tried the numerous steps to better sleeping habits, I figured out what was keeping me awake.
Resources: Too many books, pamphlets and articles to help. Ask your doctor then research the hundreds of books out there. Some were too fluffy for me, but you might be the fluffy type. Some were really therapy driven, and you might hate that. Pick an expert who analyzes the problems and has solutions based on your likes.

this one. i really think It was just the changes in schedule that were killing me. Now and then I expect to have a few more sleep problems but none as severe as when I adopted the goal.Yay

quite well on this again. But now it seems I may be sleeping a bit too much. Working nights is difficult, I just get so tired!
THe actual being at work is not the problem its the day after, when I just want to get up and eat and then go back to sleep.

I had a feelign this might happen.
With the switch to nights, I have been sleeping well during the day, except now on my days off, I also want to stay up all night and sleep during the dy. This usually occurs for a week or two. Luckily I don’t have too much going on so I can adjust a little, but it is annoying to be feeling this sleepy and getting my 8 hours in small chunks…...

disturbed sleep is a thing of the past now. It may have been related to my less than ideal living situation, less than ideal work situation, comign together. Now I am working night shift which presents a new and different set of challenges. I’ll leave this up for a week or so to make sure I am sleeping well and the i hope to say, “I’ve done this!”

I had a really good nights sleep yesterday. I am so so delighted that I did because now I can cope with all the crud that is going on with housing for my next contract.

this just isn’t working. I believe it might be the constant changing of my shcedule and shift. Today I got called at 11:22 am to come in at 12 noon. I made it but I was certainly annoyed ALL day long, as well as tired out.
Tomorro I got to work at 7 am…
New schedule coming on up in October. So yay.
