am writing “milchian” dialogues, i.e. spontaneous two person dialogues suggested as a writing exercise by creator of HBO’s Deadwood, david milch. these are getting me warmed up. also am reading the inevitable Mckee book called Story. don’t hate it the way the film entitled Adaptation led me to expect that i would. i will do this, i.e. write a screenplay. two are in progress. what i most need to work on: its plot and my tenacity. 7 years ago
