Actually, with the PA for now. I couldn’t get in until the 7th of August, though, but at least it is a start. The new doctor or his PA couldn’t be much worse than the doctor I already had! So, we’ll see. They will call me if there is a cancellation and I can get in sooner, but unless this issue significantly changes again, I think I will be okay waiting for three weeks.
Oh, and the office girl told me that it would be $100 for the first visit so that’s not bad.

He is SUCH a freaking DILLHOLE!!!!!
Anyone out there in the North Pinellas/Trinity area who can recommend a good doctor????
Sounds like something bacterial and possibly parasitic. Have you been swimming lately in crowded pools or lake water?
As for your goal-YES more people should fire their Doctors. Doctors work FOR YOU, not the other way around.

But the front desk, is impossible to navigate through. even with an acute asthma problem, I can’t get them to believe I exist, quite literally, “but you don’t have a ‘blue card””, hence, I must not be a patient….and I respond because every time I’m actually here, when I am finally able to get an appointment, they don’t want to bother to get me a ‘blue card’”
It takes about 5 calls on average to manage to get an appointment, and even then it’s weeks before I get to see her, unless I happen to get somebody decent at reception…it’s not okay anymore. I need my prescriptions filled, and I need to be able to get in, when I need to….

with quitting smoking. I asked him if he had any suggestions. His response? Just quit.
Well DUR!!! I can’t believe I didn’t think of that one all on my own!!! Geez, I’m so STUPID!!!!
Of course, I didn’t actually say that. I simply smiled politely and repeated that I was having a lot of trouble. I asked him if the hospital had any stop smoking programs he could recommend. Again, he tells me: just quit.
If I could just quit right now, we wouldn’t be having this conversation, FAT BOY. I see that whole “just quit” idea is working out real well for your fat ass.
Of course, I didn’t say that, either. I also refrained from kicking him in the shin.
I sooooo need a new doctor. A useful one.
