Make a friend from 43 things

I haven’t had much interaction yet from 43 Things yet. I must lead a really lame life, as I really haven’t even had many comments. I have been debating putting up my e-mail address just to see what happens, but I don’t want a lot of junk to come my way. I’m still debating this idea.

I think this website is really cool. I’m not exactly the most computer savvy guy out there, but I guess I know enough to do the few things that I do. If anyone out there could give me a few pointers I would appreciate it. I want to add a few more pics, but I don’t know how. Eventually I want to start my own blog page. I found one through here that I think I can use. Yeah, I know, I’m a computer dummy….

Over the years I have met several people online who have become very close friends of mine. My friend Susan and I talk almost every day. She is great. We are always there for each other. Plus, any chick who offers to beat up my ex roommate from Hell (who is also a female) scores big points with me. Of course I never took her up on her generous offer, but thats a completely different nightmare that I don’t wish to re hash.
I wouldn’t mind having an online penpal, as long as they are sane and somewhat interesting. No cyber psychos please. I need drama like I need an uneccessary root canal.
I briefly had a penpal from Russia, but it got to the point where I didn’t like getting her e-mails. They were so depressing. She was a very unhappy woman, and constantly told me how hard her life was, and how sad she was. I genuinely felt empathy for her, but other than offer kind words of encouragement, there wasn’t much I could do to help her. I was actually a bit relieved when she stopped writing me.
