dance in the rain with someone special.

it’s raining, and he grabs her hand and they run under the gazebo. He mimes dancing, and she whispers no music, and he pretends to play a couple keys of a piano, indicating that they’ll make their own music.

there’s no sex, not even kissing, but the way they dance and they way he looks at her….it’s the sexiest, most romantic scene I’ve ever experienced in a film and I’d love to have an experience like that some day.

But…My boyfriend had to go do a job at a wedding, and since it was late at night and he had picked me up just before he had to get there, we stayed in the parking lot and waited for the reception to finish. While we waited we wound up dancing a few times, daydreaming about what our wedding could be like, and then he’d pull away “I can’t enjoy this too much” he would say, his eyes sparkling. It was sweet.

It was fun. I was cold so I wanted to press in close like we were doing the tango, which would have messed up the frame for waltzing. However, doing tango in the mud would result in tripping and falling over, almost certainly.

It was romantic in a silly way. In a messy, awkward, tender sort of way. It was not romantic in a sexy or picturesque sort of way. Know what you’re in for! Silly is better anyways.

I’ve danced in the snow…but not the rain…Kissed in the rain but not danced in it. Danced during the rain, but indoors…there’s a special allure to the idea of dancing in the rain with somebody that just makes me smile.

amazing. the day before it happened, i actually had a daydream where i t started to poor at school, and outside on “the beach” we were running around and dancing. Well, the next day i was sitting in the photo room with my friend, and i look outside and there is just a downpour. I run out and immediately get soaked, and on “the beach” i see her. I run up to her and hug her. it was exactly how i had imagined it in my daydream. magical.

Done!!

i’m just waiting for the day…which will be pretty sooon…come on rain! lmfao.
