I used to keep the guitar under my bed, so I brought it out, thinking maybe if I saw it on a daily basis I’d be more inclined to practice.
Well, so far I’ve just stepped over it and gone about my business as usual.
Hmm, maybe I just need to put more effort into this one…
Picking up Guitar once again

A few days ago I finally picked up my Guitar once again. Playing it gives me such great satisfaction. I wonder why I stopped in the first place. I hope to keep with it and overcome the stale-mate condition I’m currently at – proficient but need to put in dedication to become an expert.

I take lessons every Friday by a guy who’s AWESOME! But I can’t bring myself to practice. I jsut believe that I can do it without practice, which I can’t.Ugh!

the new year’s started, and first off, i want to tell everyone who’s reading this that i hope it will be a successful, wonderful year ^^.
as for this year, i thought i should play guitar every single day, and until now, i really did so. it’s fun, since i found some tabs to some of my favourite songs on the net, and while just playing the chords, i came up with a new melody … let’s wait and see ^__~ ...

I’m doing better at this. Band is helping a lot. Playing Metallica is pretty damn cool, so it really makes all the practice worth while.
I must know the main riffs to about 1,000 songs, but hardly any all the way through. I need to stop wasting my time and focus on doing a few tunes well. When I was a kid I decided I wanted to be able to play all of ‘Are you Experienced’ by the next year.
Here, several years later I can still only belt out 1/2 of Purple Haze and the riffs from the other stuff, what the hell have I being doing with my time!
