I’ve only just finished the third square (out of twenty), but it’s progress. I had expected to be at least halfway through by now. My tension is finally evening out and I sort of want to go back to start over with the first two, but I’m resisting the urge to do so.
The pattern I wanted to use in April, was much too difficult. We found this one in a book bought in a library sale, that we stopped in to, on a whim, about a month ago. 2 months ago

I’m presently working on an Irish Fisherman Knit afghan… it’s a BIG one (queen sized bed!)It’s going to take a long time… but if I do a few rows every night, it will be done before I know it…
So, my goal is to finish a minimum of two rows/night. 3 months ago

How I did it: I watched youtube videos to learn the basic stitches and then searched the internet for some free and easy patterns. I chose a pattern that was all one color and was worked in rows so I didn't have to worry about color changes. I have started a second afghan. This one will be worked in granny squares.
