I can mark this off complete on August 1st as I am considering that the end of Winter.
We will have about reached our coldest day by this point & I have no intention on stopping my stair climbing at work & walking around as I do.

It’s been a pretty mild Winter this year & I can safely say that I’ve not fallen into lethargy which was the main point of setting this goal.

I am pretty pleased.

I’ve been sticking with the stairs at work, any time I go to take the lift I’m like, “What are you doing? That’s so lazy!”

Also had a very busy weekend so that kept me active but I think that the slightly warmer temperature helped with that too.

We’re into the second half of the year now & working towards the coldest time. I am sure I can manage to keep this up. I do need to make more time for yoga though!

I have been really good at continuing to take the stairs at work BUT my yoga practice has slipped which is a shame because I know how beneficial it is. Tonight I plan to rectify this.

PS T’is not REALLY Winter yet either..!

In the Winter time I find it very simple to get caught up in a warm blanket, reading, thinking, not doing a lot.
While I believe that Winter is a time of winding down & giving oneself some degree of rest, I don’t want other beneficial habits to slide.
One of these is to continue my yoga practice. I know this helps me, especially since my work is deskbound.
The second is to continue to take the stairs at work every time I use them.

These small habits will keep my body more used to activity & benefit my health & well-being. This Winter is going to be different.
