get hubby's doc to excuse him from jury duty

I called and explained his situation. All they needed was a doc’s excuse, and I could mail it in.

I called the doc’s office Monday. Cindy, the doc’s wonderful nurse, was no longer the voice on the voicemail. No matter. I left a detailed message, which the voicemail assured me would be returned by the end of the business day.

Wednesday, I called again. Same deal. Still no call from anyone.

Friday, called again. Talked to the person at the desk, and said here is what I need and WHAT is going on? She said, I will look into it and someone will get you what you need.

Monday, I must get this excuse. Tuesday is the day he is supposed to show up for jury duty, and if there is no doc’s excuse, I do not know what will happen. I guess I will have to go down there and explain the situation. Not sure how much sympathy they will have . . . and I don’t hear good things about the Graybar Hotel.
