Fly first or business class

I flew business class from Chicago to Hong Kong and then Singapore. It was so worth it, I can’t even tell you. Amazing.

Unfortunately, going home, I don’t think I’m lucky. If you have the miles (or the money), I HIGHLY recommend it!

Bought tickets for this summer. I used miles to upgrade. Unfortunately, not all legs could be upgraded. I really hope I can fix that because the one that couldn’t be upgraded was the super long one.

But, I may have a first class ticket for a short flight—I don’t care! It’s still first class.

Flew to New York last week and we were in the Premium Economy cabin (similar to Business) and it was lovely! Lots of room to stretch out and great food and drinks!

I’ve flown overseas several times. As you know, it’s a looooong flight. Oh, how I long to sit business class just one of those times! Of course First would be nice, too, but I’d settle for Business. Just to stretch out.

Ahhh…

I was offered an upgrade to business class for $500 when I moved to Paris. I decided that the incremental cost was worth it, if only to see what it was like. It was indeed, as air travel goes, a luxurious experience: plenty of room, higher quality food and drink, and the ability to stretch out full length to (try to!) sleep. I’d consider doing it again, at least for a transcontinental flight.

I talked the flight attendants into the bump-up. But on the way home, we were booked on a redeye from Phoenix, and we used frequent flier upgrade coupons.

Maybe again one day…

it was heaven—maybe because i was able to do it on a buddy pass!!! having a boyfriend who’s a pilot does have it’s benefits…

Except on international flights – save your frequent flier miles for free flights, not upgrades…

Would be nice not to fly cattle class for once!
