pet a dolphin

I did this in Mexico, got into the ocean with two trained dolphins and was able to swim with them, ride them, and pet them. They are like REALLY big dogs…..I have a picture kissing one of them….they have very kind eyes

I was glad to get a chance to touch a dolphin, several times as it swam by. Fascinating creatures.

I was able to touch some dolphins in a pool at Sea World in San Antonio during a behind-the-scene tour. It was a beautiful moment but made me sad that they were in a small pool and not out free.

it was wonderful! When Sea World was located in Aurora, OH, I used to go all the time. My 1st stop was always at feed the dolphins, where you could get a quick pet if lucky!

They’re rubbery and friendly- and I got to feed a few, too!

It was in 1988 or 1987, I think, I wasn’t much older than 6 so I can’t really remember much. Expect my mum was freaking out, I guess she was afraid it wouldn’t bite my hand off.
As a reward for being so brave I got a watertoy. A dolphin, naturally

Hopefully I will be able to do this if I can get to Sea World. My brother’s home base is in Orlando, but he’s currently overseas. Hopefully sometime when I get down to visit him when he’s in the States, we can go to Sea World there. I’m sure my niece and nephew would love it.

Or, as as tourist also once put it (while miked to the audience), “Like a woman’s leg just shaven.” :D)

I did it and kiss it too. I was very lucky couse my brother was working at Sea World and he arranged it when we visited him.
