I honestly do not know when I finished this one because I do not think I have logged on in two years! But it was completed in the interim.
Like so many others doing this, I ended up having to complete too many unfinished DIY projects in order to put the house on the market. THAT was a task. That is completed and the house has been on the market for over 6 months….

One thing led to another and there I was, in the middle of a gutted bathroom. Even though I have all the walls back up, there are so many things I have yet to do, as far as putting in a new shower system with new pipes, painting the tub and putting in a new floor, toilet, sink and everything else. Its a mess…and I’m still chipping away at it.

Consolidating this goal to be more broad…Instead I’m going to give up on this one and list “sell my house” as a new goal, since finishing the remodel of the bathroom will fall under this new goal anyway.

Man, I’m so close. I just need to paint the crown moulding and install it, but it’s raining buckets now and the garage is too damp. Maybe next week!

i was sick of looking at my century old bathroom. the wallpaper was coming off and the decor was very outdated. i decided to embark on a project. it was a bit harder than i thought. so a month later, i am sitting here with torn off wall paper and my bathroom closet door off. i was gonna wait for my aunt to help me with the project, because she is miss martha stewart…but i’ve decided to research it and finish it myself.

My bathroom is just sitting there waiting to be put back together. There is new paint on the walls and new flooring but the new toilet and sink remain in the boxes waiting to be installed. I’d like to have it finished by…lets say…January 6th. That seems reasonable enough.

We ended up hiring someone to help us finish up. It was just dragging…and dragging…but I’m thrilled to have such a bright space now!

So slow going! I have one more wall of wallpaper to remove, sand, then prime. THEN I will paint all four walls. After that, onto the ceiling. Well worth the work though. Our bathroom looks much larger and brighter.

Finally finished this multi year project. The final push occurred last October when I needed to complete this project to sell our house. I lost 20 pounds in the process and it definitely increased the value of our home.

I dread this task…not because I don’t want to do it, but because it will cost some money (which I don’t have at the time). I replaced the bathtub a couple of years ago and then painted the walls, but I still need to tile the floor and replace the toilet and sink. I will have to do it a bit at a time, starting with the toilet, since it has a minor leak.
