    Different experience 2 years ago

When I was a lot younger my parents dragged me through like 8 of the museams, and after the first couple I was sick of it. I was too young to really be interested in or understand a lot of the thinsg I saw. I would like to revisit a lot of it now though! I remember my favorite museam was the one with Elvis’ outfit and Mr. Roger’s sweater!

when I was younger and don’t remember too much of it. I would like to go back to see it as an adult.

This is the most amazing collection of museums on the planet! There’s everything from the Hope diamond to Dorothy’s ruby sippers. Although we’ve spent more time at the Air and Space Museum than the rest, it is all worthwhile.

i spent a week in d.c. and went to the portrait gallery. i was blown away and amazed at the level of artistry in that place. i wasn’t able to go to any other smithsonian museums, but will definitely do that on my next trip.

    My favorites 3 years ago

The National Zoo is also part of the Smithsonian – and it is beautiful. It is large, so be prepared for a good bit of walking.

My personal favorite (besides the Zoo) is the Museum of Natural History. That is a wonderful mixture of things, from dinosaurs to the Hope Diamond. The American History Museum is also fantastic. Well, all of them have their appeal, but those are my favorites.
