is to successfully complete NaNoEdMo (the process of editing one’s novel for 50 hours in the month of March) by doing a little each day. At around two hours a day, I might be able to make it a readable story. Cause the re-read is making me ask what drugs I was on.

Here I am, mid-way through February. I think I can give this month a miss. I don’t know if my car’ll be useable by next month, so I think I’ll use March as my “cleanup” month and attempt to spend 15 – 30 minutes a day cleaning up my house.

still giving the mister his foot rubs, and while he’s sleeping quite soundly at the end of things, I sure as heck am not. Bah.

Ending the first full week of January, and the Mister has insisted on switching off massage days, though I do try to work on his poor feet at least a few minutes each on days when it’s not my turn. Those steel toed boots they have the guys wear are hell on the feet, and he appreciates it so. Actually put him to snoring twice. [giggle]
Funny thing, the movements are rather like the exercises the therapist had me doing when my carpal tunnel flared up really badly. And I haven’t needed my wrist braces at night most of this week…which I’m quite happy about.
So, as much as for his comfort as for mine, I may keep doing this.

I only got in fifteen minutes of massaging the Mister’s poor feet last night before I zoned out and fell asleep at the end of the bed. I promised him I’d make it up to him tonight.

the time to start things like workouts and weight loss and housecleaning and all that other should-do-but-hate stuff. So I’m going to make it pleasureable for both the Mister and myself.
Starting Jan 1, I’ll be giving him a 30 minute massage for 30 days. Maybe it’ll help how much pain he’s always in. Hope so anyway.

In reading someone else’s goal, I found a link to Steve Pavlina’s article about his 30 day challenges. So I’m using next year to try the following in no particular order:
Spend 30 minutes cleaning up and organizing your home or office
Use the Y Membership
Give your partner massages
Follow the Candida diet
Post a blog here and update it
Call a different family member or friend every day.
Read for an hour a day on a subject that interests you.
Meditate every day.
Learn a new vocabulary word
Go for a long walk
And two more to be posted later.

I am ditching the vegetarian thing for the moment, after some twenty days, as my diet has actually gotten worse. I had cookies for dinner the other night. Seriously had not done something like that for years and years. So we are going to pause for station identification and I’m going to see if I can even revert to my better diet that just happened to include certain meats, but did not include things like cookies.
Been flossing, though.

And I’ve also been doing the vegetarian/vegan thing now since just before the beginning of the year.
The label of vegetarian/vegan is already irritating me though, because it is vegan one day, vegetarian the next, back and forth, so what the hell? These silly trying words and their definitions…
How about ‘conscientious eater’, or is that just too damn grey/complicated?
I may also add some sort of gym related goal to the 30 day list, but my urge is to try to many things at once…since this is with the hope of forming permanent, healthy habits, maybe I should just chill here for a while without meat…
