How I did it: One painfully cold January morning my boyfriend and I (both feeling the weight of that wonderful seasonal depression you can count on in the Midwest after the holidays have passed) walked into an antique shop hoping to forget our winter boredom in the magic that you find in those tiny, strange stores. We found ourselves standing in front of one of those gorgeous globes with each country carved from a different stone. I guess somethin… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I choose to take a semester off from nursing school to study abroad in Granada. I choose to go with CEA. The program was amazing. So helpful and made the experience even better. The people that run CEA are incredibly nice and caring. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It happened really suddenly. A friend of a friend owns a bed & breakfast in Galicia. They needed help and I needed an internship. Voila! Two weeks later I was in Spain. I spent the entire summer there. The weather is perfect, the mountains and beaches are lovely, the food is delightful. it was all just really, really beautiful. I would love to go back. How I did it: When I was four, my mum, dad, sister and me went to Spain! It was my first holliday ever, on an island called Menorca. We had soooooooooooooo much fun and they loved it, but most of all, I LOVED IT!! Read how I did it…
suziqlb Going to the Gym!
I would love to be able to go to Spain and ride on a gondala and drink in the culture. Visit winerys there. And enjoy myself.
I would truly like to learn Spanish, which I guess is another thing I could put on this list. I think actually going to Spain would propel this goal, though. I also often forget that there is a whole world outside the BLC.
i’m going to spain through an academic program at my school. i’m so excited! anyway the program director called me and told me he was concerned about my spanish and by saying mi gramatica no es fabuloso pero me entiendo muchas palabras y ideas, the director said i had motivation for speaking spanish without him asking me to! he said my accent was good too. i have to really focus on my spanish so i wont get killed in spanish classes in spain. i’m so excited though! i’m in and i’m going this summer!!!!!!! i just feel like anything can happen, really, when i first applied i had doubts that i wouldn’t get in, but here i am… going to SPAIN!

Well, in 2010, I will be going to Spain with people from my high school and I am BEYOND excited. I know a few people who are going, and I hope to meet and befriend more people who will be going on the trip. Everytime someone mentions the word “Spain” or “Spanish,” I freak out (even if it’s just in my head).
So, yeah, I’m so excited~ the end!
I would love to travel to spain, i have always wanted to ever since my parents have gone there. They countine to travel there every year around january. I think it would be a great experience to learn about other cultures and see the way they live compared to the way that we live. I think it would be a experince its self just taking the ride on the plane its self would be a experince. I think that everyone in there life time should travel somewhere in the world. I just want to experince the life in spain as my parents do.
5dogs What a beautiful weekend! It made me happy and grateful!
I have discovered a company that allows you to go to Spain and speak conversational English with native Spaniards for a week. No Spanish allowed (which is good, since I don’t speak it). they pay your room and board, and you go…talk. This allows the natives to learn to speak conversational English, as they would need to do in business situations.
I thought I’d go do this for a week, and then do some travelling around in Spain. I want to see San Juan de Compostela, and the Ahlambra (can’t remember what town that’s in). It’s going to be a long way off, since I need to pay off the debt first. But it’s on my life list!
-U! a.k.a. Uriel A. Duran wouldn't mind to sell out but so far he's only selling in (dammit!)
(this week I made a promise to a very special person that I would be going there as soon as possible…now it’s like both an early x-mas wish and new year’s resolution in one,so let’s put some hope on that).
