reading Spiritual Leadership by J.Oswald Sanders. Wonderful book about leadership – it will be a great book to discuss with a group.

by Craig Groeschel. Fabulous book! Loved it! So much that I am going to read it again before I lay it aside and go on. I’d recommend it to anyone who cares about truly being the church that God intended us to be.

I like the treadmill 12 months ago

there is nothing except exercise and reading…it kind of hurts though since I am on an incline and have to hold on and hold my book to read but I love the fact that I have nothing else to do except read since I love it so much… I finished Carry On by Scotty Gibbons. Good book. I found it interesting that at the end of the book he had two scriptures that he mentioned and both are the ones that I always quote all the time in my life. Philippians 3:12 and Acts 20:24.

Developing The Leader Within You – these books are gold!
I’ve loved reading all three. I’m already sad that I only have 2 left to read.

I have read 17 months ago

2 of the 5 books that I bought. I’ve combined my reading with my workouts and its worked out fabulously. I enjoy my time reading and it helps to make the workout time go by much faster.

So 19 months ago

I bought 5 different books by John C. Maxwell the other day and began reading them. The first so far is fabulous, The 21 indispensable qualities of a leader. I began reading while I was on the treadmill and read the first 4 chapters, and couldn’t put it down.

One great nugget…”As the law of buy-in states; people buy into the leader, then the vision.”

That spoke volumes to me in many, many ways.

The reading 22 months ago

that I have done lately has been for my studies. I don’t know sometimes…. I think that I’d just rather read God’s word for myself than to listen to what some guy says that He is saying. I am going to begin reading Mere Christianity by C.S Lewis this weekend though.

Right now I read a lot. Every night I read God’s word. I love it! I love Jesus. But I need for my sanity to read something all the time, I love to read. Now, I’m reading my studies to get my credentials for my Pastorate, but I also need to read just for fun. I remember as a kid loving to read so much that I read even the shampoo bottles while I bathed.

It’s really quite simple. I read while he watches TV. I hate TV watching, he doesn’t like reading as much. I have come to terms with this in the same way that he has come to accept that i do not care for boob tube programs (except 24!). Our heavenly evenings consist of lounging on the sofa, sharing a snack if not the medium of choice.
