Progress: poor
Since I last wrote, I’ve given out one pass along card, maybe two. I’ve invited exactly one person to church, and that was only a week ago. I need to approach this like a missionary: make a list with goals for them. I could also probably benefit from studying the “business” chapters from Preach My Gospel.
Do I have member missionary activities on my goal schedule for 2009? I’ll have to check.

I don’t think I can count much online work here, since I can’t really know who reads anything I write. Perhaps direct emails or comments left on my blog might be permissible, but I really want to focus on personal contact, meaning pass along cards and handing our Book of Mormons, and inviting people to lessons in my home or at church.
This goal asks for about two such contacts per week, a standard that I feel may be too high for me. For the rest of this year, I’ll just try to do the best I can. 3 years ago
I’ve given out two pass-along cards in the last month or so—both with my name and number on them, and both times I made a note of the person’s name, but neither has contacted me. I have no way of knowing if it did any other good.
I need to work on more efficient ways of inviting people to learn the gospel, which, first, means putting more time into prayer. 3 years ago
