Heh. Yeah I guess snow is good on xmas… I see the fun of it when one wants to snowboard or ski and generally has no where else to go or nothing else to do but hang out by a fire with a hot buttered rum and xmas is a good time for it. Under these circumstances snow can be beautiful and enjoyable. There is something kind of magical about it. Then there are the realities and the white every other days where it is bitterly cold and cars are sliding into each other while innocently being driven to work… oops I slipped out of the happy place. Merry Xmas peeps!

As much as I hate snow…I love a white Christmas. Go figure. As far as I’m concerned…it can snow on Dec 23…then melt all off again on the 26…and I’d be cool with that!

My best friend and housemate of 8 year moved to London last week. I would so dearly love to visit her and spend Christmas somewhere snowy. My only obstacle is of course finance- it’s hard on student money. i barely make ends meet from week to week let alone afford overseas travel. But hey- i’m gonna try.

Along with a White Christmas comes crazy cold. Sure it looks pretty, but then you’re stuck with it until it melts. Take advantage of it and watch all the christmasy movies with snow…but don’t beat yourself up about it if you never do this.
To sum up: Do it once if you really want to, but it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

I just got home from Colorado, where I went snowboarding at Keystone and Vail with my parents. We were there for Christmas, and it snowed all day. So now I can say that I’ve had a white Christmas. Being a Florida native, I consider that an accomplishment.

Beautiful Christmas snow here at my house!!! Winter wonderland here. Kids are contemplating whether or not the snow is truly ‘magic snow’ as in Frosty.

and it was generally a really dreary holiday. It’s forecasted to snow here on Christmas. That would be nice.
This year I want to say to all I have corresponded with here on 43 Things that I have REALLY enjoyed all the great conversations and laughs we’ve shared in 2007 and I’m happy to know each of you. I always know that even before or after a stressful day out in the world that I always have you to cheer me up. Thanks for that. I love it here and I love you all.
Have a great holiday!!!
peace
