It is maybe not easy but definitely worth it once you get past the stage of pronouncing the tones. Being able to have a small conversation is the first step.
Going to China and study there helped me a lot as it put me in the right environment.
I’m living now in Shanghai and I still take Chinese lessons to improve my abilities.
Especially reading is a challenge but I’ll get there.
Ni Hou
Well thats the extent of my knowledge!
One day I will to travel to China and explore, also I wish to communicate with my father inlaw, who lives in China.
okay, I’ve been dabbling in Chinese for the past couple years now. I guess I know a little, but I hope that will change soon, because I’m nowhere near where I want to be. I’m studying the traditional characters and I know about 300 now.
i have been learning madarin for one month but it is just 15 hours i know a little bit about it. when i was in the class i think it’s not much useful as because many students are there the thing is this;i could not grasp it properly so in the other way round i should have some friends from chinese that would be better. i just met some chinese friend; his name is Ting ,by that time, we were playing basketball while playing he asked me many things and i also did the same thing i happened to know that he has been teaching for seven years before came to Thailand;he said, he came here for doing his master in SOM field at AIT and after graduating he must go back to his country because his family is there and the goverment need him to pay the cost back to him so that bond should be finished by working for the goverment.
if anyone knows a good way to learn this or wants to help me learn let me know!!!!
