take my camera with me wherever I go so I can get those photos that keep getting away

This one is too true. I’ve lost a lot of great moments ):

My son is my life. All I can ever remember wanting out of life was to be a mommy. Well now I am and it is WONDERFUL! But I can’t help noticing how big he is growing already. 12 weeks old tomorrow! I want to cry. He was 7lbs1oz, 21.5” at birth and at his 2 month check-up he was 12lbs3oz and 23.5”. He’s surely double his birth weight by now. I can’t believe how big my baby is getting.

I need to start capturing every moment I can with him. Even if I never make these photos into a scrapbook like I want to, at least I’ll have them to look at. I’m also sure my future daughter-in-law would love to see them as well.

I got such a deal on a new camera today!! I am sooo excited… I got a Olympus SP 510 UZ !! Now to read the manual.. :( oh wait there is a quick start guide… :D

I just forget sometimes that I do. And then when I do remember, I try to force photos. I’m getting better at capturing moments though. So many pictures I see are while I’m in a car. But the other day I actually pulled over and took a picture, so yay for me!

At first it was hard to bring my camera everywhere, Always having a bag lugging around but its totally worth it because I always get the shots I want when its happening and dont have to go “if only I had my camera”

I’ve been doing this for several months now and it’s great. Just have to make sure to keep the battery charged at all times!

I’ve been doing this for about a year now. I get some of the coolest pictures. It’s wonderful.

Now i just wish i had started before i saw that giant snow phallus in the front yard of the church. Man, no one’s gonna believe me!
(honest, there was!)

I’ll put this back in when I get the camera.
