using a timer really helps the time challenged 4 years ago

I have become more time aware lately. I’ve been setting my timer for 15 minutes to see what I can get done, or to alert me when it is time to leave. I think I am actually retraining my brain!

new crutch to help me with my time helplessness 4 years ago

I have a digital sports watch with all sorts of functions, but I’m using the countdown timer to help keep me on track. I really am a very poor judge of how much time has passed. I’ll set it for 15 minutes and be SHOCKED! when that timer goes off. It seems like only 2 or 3 minutes… I’m hoping to train myself to have a better sense of time as well as being prompt.

Will keep you all posted on how this is working for me!

is this ever achievable? 4 years ago

at least for me? I’m the one who waits until we should BE there before I feel the need to leave. My ever punctual husband will leave early, leaving extra time to account for traffic, finding parking, stopping at the ATM, getting gas, etc. Needless to say, we clash on this often.
