Engage in a tidying zone for 15 minutes daily

I went through the dresser today. There was way to much stuff in it. I can hardly fit all of my clothes in there due to lack of space. A lot of the things in there hadn’t seen the light of day in years.

I spent a few minutes and removed a lot of the things that I haven’t worn for a long, long time. I was amazed at how much stuff I was able to get rid of. The other amazing thing was that I still have a lot of clothes left.

I like this goal. I think this is one I can keep up daily. So much to do.

I started going through a pile of papers that I had that have needed to be filed away for a very long time.

As I put them into the file box I realized that there wasn’t enough room for all of them, so I took out some of the papers that are less needed and decided to move them to the filing cabinet.

The filing cabinet was full of a lot of old papers that I’m pretty we can live without, phone bills from 1992, the owner’s manual for a VCR that we got rid of about four years ago, cancelled checks from 1994, etc. Most of what was in the drawer ended up being thrown away or shredded.

Now I have a place to put my important, but inactive files, as well as a place for my current files.

I swept the floor and did the dishes.

I swept and spot mopped the floor.

I tidied my clothes closet.

I took care of the kitty litter corner, pitched some boxes to the recycleables, and wiped off the computer desk.

I am definitely a “Tidy Toddie”.
I actually enjoy making things neat. It’s easy to make time to do so when you get such satisfaction from it.

I swept out the garage and took out all the trash in the house.

Before I left for Phoenix, I swept the downstairs flooring, and cleaned out the kitty litter area.
Two cats can do twice as much as one, cant they?
