I spent a very hot weekend in Birmingham with my hubby, daughter and a hundred plus other bookcrossers. I took 15 books and was coming back with only 6 until caffcaff caught me as we were leaving to say I’d won a raffle prize in my absence, which was a boxed set of Penguin books. Hubby came home with 12 books and DD had 6. A good weekend in all.
So I’ve booked a place and I’ve booked a hotel. So barring the unforseen I should be there in July.
If you are a bookcrosserin the uk – you should go too! I went in 2004 and 2005 – and I am booked to go in 2006.

I went in 2004 & 2005 & will be going in 2006. It’s one of the highlights of my year :)
Well, the date has been set for 1/7/2006 in Birmingham
I have already booked the weekend off, so fingers crossed, I’ll be there
I have my coach tickets, I have booked a place at the Unconvention and a hotel room, so I think the chances are fairly high ;-)
