write something and get it published

Yeah, it would be really cool to write something. And get it published too.

My manuscript, after many revisions, was accepted for publication! I should have the proofs in a month or so.

A few weeks back, I got the reviews back on a manuscript I submitted for publication… Addressing all the reviewer concerns has been consuming my life… However, things look promising—all three reviewers recommend it for publication, but it’s the associate editor who makes the final decision. Once I re-submit the revised version, I’ll know shortly whether it will be published. Fingers crossed.

but I am very busy right now and there are other, more important things to be taken care of. Will try and work on this whenever I can snatch a spare 20 minutes or so.

I’ve always loved to read so it seemed natural to me that I should also want to write something of my own. Unfortunately I’ve never had a flair for creative writing such as stories and poems, so I never really practiced my writing. I then discovered a videogaming website http://www.gamefaqs.com. This site is made up of video game walkthrough guides written by the site’s members. The site is free to join and aims to have a complete back catalogue of guides for all video games on all systems, current and old. After using the site for a while and reading various guides, I thought that I would be able to create my own guides. A few months later and I have now had 11 of my own guides published online. Last summer, before I turned 18, I wrote an essay for a potential scholarship on whether or not athletes were overpaid, and they decided to publish it in a book called voices of the future. I thought that was pretty cool. =)

I have had a few poems published in Poetry at the melienum, poets of america poets in today society, and magnetic poetry.

I’ve published some fiction and non-fiction and want to publish a book. That’s my next goal!

I’ve been borederline obssessed with writing for soo long. I’ve written 100’s of poems and a few stories and plenty of ideas for them all… And I can’t htink of a goal in my life that I would be most dissipointed with myself than this really, na I odn’t even know why….

I’ve started with small articles to my news paper, usually in response to another article. Woo Hoo, I’m published.
