I want ot learn korean
An Nyoung Ha Se Yo / 안녕하세요
I started to learn Korean at the beginning of this week.
I have almost memorised the alphabet, but some characters pronounciation still confuses me. I’ll get the hang of it eventually, thanks to world wide web, korean friends, kdramas and kmovies.
I enjoy learning it very much. I like the language, and I intend to learn it well enough to be able to communicate in it (in korean).
At least by now I can say “hello” and ” thank you” plus few other things.
This is a long term goal. I give it one year. Next year, same time I want to be able to understand korean and also hold a simple conversation in korean.
kimerlynn61 is leaving for South Korea next Thursday! :-D
I’ve been trying to learn using the Lonely Planet Korean Phrasebook. So far I’ve memorized the Hangul alphabet characters, though I still need work on pronouncing everything correctly and learning the double consonant characters. But then I look at Hangul guides online and get so confused because, well, it looks different from what I’ve been studying! Help! I’m moving to Korea in about three weeks and I don’t even know how to say hello! :O
I learned the 3 Bears song, which is supposedly the most popular children’s song in Korea. Sang it to my 2-year old daughter and she loves it. She asks me to sing it for her at every opportunity.
I have not even started yet.
y3nd0 is seriously trying to learn Korean and lose weight at the same time!
I started learning Hangeul a few days ago. Hopefully I can stick with it! I am so passionate about the Korean language, and I want to learn so badly. And I mean SO badly. It had been set about 7 years back that Korean was THE one language I wanted to learn fluently.
:/ Hopefully Korean dramas, online lessons, Korean music, and Korean friends will help me get far.
Whoot! FIGHTING!
yasashiku is trying to fight the fight!
I have a pen pal from Korea & I would really love to be able to write to her in Korean so it makes it easier for her.
I’m wondering anyone who is learning Korean or has learned it, is it really hard because I’ve heard it been spoken before & it seems like it would be hard to pronounce half of the language.
I’m so curious! I really would love to learn the language & be able to speak it one day! FIGHTING!
I happen to be part Korean and would love to be able to speak to my grandma.
My mom’s whit and my dad’s korean. my dad’s family can’t speak english. you get the picture. god. im trying really-okay. im not trying im giving a half-assed effort, but i want to try. im just too damn lazy
At the end of this month I will be traveling away from home and I will be studying Korean almost nonstop after that. Shortly after I’ll be in Korea.
However, I want to learn as much Korean as I possibly can before I leave. I’ve always been at least somewhat intelligent, and I enjoy being a smart person, and knowing things, and being ahead of others in the same educational setting.
In August I’ll be in a class with other people who are also learning Korean. I want to be the best speaker in the class. I know it’ll be hard to learn very much, but I’m going to start and I’m going to learn Korean to the max.
I’ll be spending two years in Korea, so knowing Korean will be pretty useful. But I think even after I get home I’ll try to keep my Korean up. I want to always be able to speak and write it. I want to become fluent like a native speaker. I want to know Korean as much as I know English and I want to be able to speak it and read it and write it perfectly.
So this month I will begin studying Korean.
