but I did finally experience it when I lived in Colorado for a few years – I had a smooth transition to it because the place I lived didn’t get much of it but enough to deal with everything one needs to deal with – :)

Snow can be small and delicate, or soft and fluffy. When the spring comes it turns hard and clearly crystalline before disappearing.
I get tired of the snow creaking under my shoes every winter but that does not change the fact that snow is worth experiencing.
