make a new "craft" each week

technically i do at work.. but.. really i can’t take time for myself like this right now. any spare time i have needs to be devoted to reading for school…

so you can see the stripes through it when the lamp is on, but i kind of like it :)

so for this week.. I remade my lamp. The before and after picture. I bought the lampshade really cheap so I bought ribbon to dress it up. It matches my room perfectly :D

so.. I tried to post my picture of my Vision board yesterday.. unsuccessfully.. so here goes.

i started a new craft this week.. knitting a scarf for him him him, but alas i’m not even halfway done.. so i guess this craft will be a two week deal. but the scarf looks spiffy! i’ll post a finished picture when it’s done.

made my first “luggage tag”. i used the scraps from my first knitting swatch and some beads and string I had around.

it’s funky but ultimately i like it ;) what do you think?

so… i bought all the materials.. it’s just taking me a bit to do things.. BUT! i did sew a pretty heart i cut out of beautiful fabric onto my sweatshirt.. so.. i suppose i’m on my way.

definitely haven’t started this yet.. i’ll give it another go for the beginning of next week.. still the luggage beads.

so this week i am going to work on a luggage tag. i always enjoy going to the airport and seeing neat tags on peoples luggages.. so many crafty, unique ideas! so i decided im going to start making my own luggage tags with really bright beads and flamboyant ribbons.

i’ll post my progress…
