buy more art

i met a really nice lady who was showing her work during the last 1st friday art walk…my table was set up next to hers to we talked the whole time and we ended up trading some paintings

she was showing some small work and so was i

it worked out well
i have a few pieces from other artists now

a new print for my house.

i bought a tshirt at the arts and crafts fair this past weekend and i also traded some art too…i love to barter

using alternate forms of currency is the best

i will be participating this weekend and this will also give me a chance to see what the other artists in town are making

pretty exciting, i might come home with some new art

Currently saving money for the mortgage fund so putting this aside for now.

I’ve bought a huge amount of art in the last couple of weeks, now I just have to find places for it all!

I found a great website (www.etsy.com) where you can buy thousands of pieces of art directly from the artists. I highly recommend it!

I live in a city where the arts district is pretty active, it would be great if there was some more affordable art out there, I have been getting into making art coasters which I am hoping to sell soon, the goal is to sell packs of four and the best part is that they will be affordable and functional.

In my town they have these Friday art walks which are usually pretty cool however I don’t make it to all of them. Sometimes its hard for me to go out into crowded galleries, I like to spend some time with the pieces, really looking.

I have work that friends of mine have done and I have plenty of my own work in the apartment but I would love to look at other peoples work more often, I find that when I go out to look at work I get very inspired.

This reminds me that this Friday is a 1st Friday Art Walk, cool.

I am very interested in Art..I bought my first painting when I was 16..It really worth it..The painting belongs to my High School art teacher..It really cost me a lot, because I spend all of my savings and instead of buying cloths, shoes i don´t know I bought this painting.I have it in my bedroom..

I am running out of wall space. Going to check off this goal as done…..maybe re add it another time if we move to a bigger space.
