I just don’t get it. I’ve read the books, I’ve watched the videos, but I just don’t seem able to wrap my head around it; how it works, how the it’s built-up. PHP I kinda get, but this…

I want to learn javascript

Just read a chapter about javascript syntax! Can’t wait to see it all in action because right now I am very confused. Variable, arrays, objects, statements, functions – how is all this going to help make my web pages more dynamic? But I am determined to find out, however hard it may be to grasp right now :0

I have a fairly sound knowledge of HTML & CSS. Now I want to master Javascript. I’ve made several attempts to learn the basics, but found things way too confusing. I just need to apply myself and focus on really understanding each thing before moving onto the next. I’ve bought a book – DOM Scripting by Jeremy Keith – which I’m hoping will be my saviour.

I AM NOT GOING TO LET IT BEAT ME!

I am already a ridiculously competent HTML coder. Time to branch out and learn some more code.

But, I think that I need to learn a more basic programming language first, such as Perl, Ruby, or Python. Not sure which one I’m going to learn first yet.

discovered scriptaculous and prototype last week. Pretty awesome. Will incorporate it into my church’s website…

I don’t really need to learn this.
