I did seven pages today. It’s progress!

I did not touch this goal for the last nine or so months. But this weekend I thought that this would make a nice Xmas present to my husband (since he was the one who originally wanted to do this), and it would also be a budget-friendly gift since we had most of the fixings for it already.
So, with that goal in mind, I started and have done four pages so far. However, they represent some slow years for photographs, and it’s going to be a lot more intensive to cull through and sort after we get into our picture heavy years! Gosh, if only that baby cat we adopted a couple years back weren’t so darned adorable!

I’d added this goal after my husband and I bought a scrapbook album that he had said he would want dedicated to our cats. Slowly we’d collected scrapbooking paraphernalia relating to cats—good deals from Big Lots or a few odds and ends from Michael’s and the like. But as for putting things together, we were at a complete halt.
Tonight I thought I’d assess the situation. I sorted through our pile of cat photos, saw what we had and what we were missing, and dropped them into page protectors in loose order. I’ll have to do a big upload and order one of these days to make any actual progress on this goal, but I am probably at a place where I can start putting together a few pages here and there.
Of course it’ll probably take me several more months to lift a finger on this one again!
pb_j21 says there isnt much to be jealous of, your mine anyways i love you
I think it would be really special if i have a scrapbook to always remember my cats (or even pets ive had in the past:in a seperate book of coarse)

I felt like such a cat lady adding this, but it was my husband’s idea – he bought an album and everything. We love our cats so much…and I guess this would be good practice for baby albums one day! ;)
imaine breifly the joy you feel simply looking at your cats. Now take that and multiply by 1000 and thats what it feels like to see them whenever you want in the scrapbook!! :)
Finished the last page of the ABC album of the cats last night. Now I just want to scan them onto the computer so I can email them to people.
This gets difficult to do when I try to scrapbook at home. The cats are curious and come over to the table. Then plop down on the page I’m working on. Or start playing with the supplies. I can’t leave the supplies out like I used to be able to do. Need to motivate myself. I can scrapbook once a month at church, but need to do it more often.
