Learn Spanish and Portugese

I’m planning a trip to Portugal in September with some friends. This is just the impetus I needed to motivate me to start learning Portuguese. I’ve purchased the Pimsleur series on European Portuguese on CD and the Living Language course on CD as well. I started the Living Language course first, but found that it was difficult to use just the audio CD without the accompanying book. I was hoping to rip the CD and listen to it on my iPod while I was running, but it didn’t work well without the book. I then got the Pimsleur CD and found that it was a lot easier to use since it focuses more on the audio. It’s been a few weeks now, and I think I’m actually making some progress. Hopefully, by the time September comes around, I’ll be a lot more confident and fluent.
