I got a bulldog puppy. His name is Zeke. He was almost $2000. But he’s awesome…. and cute!
How to own a bulldog
It made me 
"Got a English Bulldog puppy back in may. He's great, but has cost me more than I figured already."
How I did it: I wanted a English bulldog for a few years since my old roommate moved out.
I search for a long time to find a good breeder and even then the breeder that I found turned out to be not so good in the end. I came across them on the site meetup.com in the bulldog group for my area.
Lessons & tips: Make sure you get a good contract from your breeder. Make sure that you have ample time to get the puppy checked out by your vet. Don't believe anything that the breeder has said in terms of puppy health. Believe your vet over the breeder. Dog breeders are usually weird people to begin with. Make sure you are able to return the dog after you get it checked it by the vet if the puppy is unfit.
I've already had to deal with cherry eye, and am told that we need surgery on his back legs for luxating patellas.
