get my ear pierced

Hopefully get it done by the end of July, but I wont have it done for my birthday. : (

I’ve been waiting until all of my college interviews were over to get this done. However, my parents are not entirely supportive of the idea, so i’d either have to just do it and tell them to suck it up, or suck up to them…

I’ve been thinking about getting my ear pierced for a while now. It came to the point where I would have either one or both of my ears pierced in nearly all of my dreams. Coincidentally, I was at my friend’s house where we found a small, fake, silver-colored hoop earring. I’ve had encouragement from all of those that I’ve showed it too, including my closest friends and girlfriend, but I need to feel impelled to go knock down the final barrier and act on it. I know I will soon, but I’m getting anxious.

i got my ears pierced in Gateway and it didn’t even hurt as much as i thought it would, so it was really awesome.

I got my ears pierced when I was 12. There are so many lovely earrings you can wear and they don’t hurt anywhere as much as the clip-ons. The thing you need to make sure of is that you keep the gold studs in for the appointed time and that you keep them clean with alcohol or hydrogen peroxide.

That said, I would not recommend getting more than one hole per ear and only in the earlobe. My sister got a nose ring and had multiple infections exacerbated during cold season. Keep it to your earlobes for best result. =)

I guess this is my way of “staying young.” I’ve always wanted my cartilege (sp?) pierced, but couldn’t because I play soccer. Well, time’s up. I need to suck it up and live a little. Cause that’s what life’s about right? EXPERINECES!
