1. Look people in the eyes when they introduce themselves and while doing that, repeat there name and then repeat it in your head.
2. After that repeat it a couple more times and call them by name in the conversation whenever feels natural.
3. Try to attach the name to a characteristic feature of the person.

Try to attach the name to a characteristic feature of the person. I tried it last week-end, when I was out on a trip together with a number of people I didn’t know, and it helped! :o)
