Renewal... 4 months ago

Time to renew this goal…

I visited a long lost cousin earlier in the year. It was scary at first to go see someone that I haven’t seen in 25 years but that scariness left the minute I saw him. He had kids that I didn’t even know about. I met his lovely wife and kids and had a wonderful time. There is truly nothing like family.

Catching up... 10 months ago

I went to NYC in December to see my parents and one brother who lives with them. I have another brother in NJ and got to have coffee with him every morning as he works in the vicinity of my hotel. That was special to spend time with him every morning and then one night went to his home to have dinner with his wife and children. Next I will plan a trip to Texas to see another brother. Family is way too important not to see them.

I am getting serious about this goal. I’m visiting my parents next week in Manhatten. My mother has alzheimers and I have a feeling that its progressing. I have not been to NY in about 4 years. I will also see my baby brother and have lunch with my other brother who lives in NJ.

My Family 13 months ago

I have not seen my brothers in literally years. I speak to one of them quite regularly who lives in Texas with his family. Today he practically begged me to see him so I’m hoping to do this before Christmas.

hearing family stories that were never told to you is a big, worthwhile part of this.
