At RM599 (approx USD 160) with 5 GB storage, packing 2500+ songs.. my world will never be silent, unless I want it to be.

Ever the practical gal, I successfully deflected all temptation to be “Podded”, chosing instead to get value for money. I’ve got about 104 songs already synced onto my Zen Micro. Inaugral tunes include those by Coldplay, Arcade Fire, The Shins, Annie Lennox and of course, my homeboy.. Jason M! :P

Actually, this is a present to myself. Got our bonus payout this month and since I’m not into bling, fancy clothes and it’s not enough to score me a new car, I figured what better way to spend my hard-earned money but to fuel my lifelong passion, one of the things I love most.. music!

This thing pWns an ipod in each and every way known to man, and not known.
Not only do they give u more space for music (the most important thing!), but they give u over 40 USD worth of things that would cost that much to get for ipod. These include:
1.) Radio
2.) Microphone and recording
3.) 1 more gb? it would cost alot for a whole new hdd
4.) Blue led backlit on buttons AND around device
5.) More colors
6.) Coolness factor

I am a proud owner of a pink zen. Just make sure u upgrade the firmware, esp. if u have an older one.

Have had it for two days now… I was lusting for the ipod mini but finally decided to go for the Micro Zen (+1 Gb, radio, improved battery life, two batteries (one free!), better sound (or so they say)...
I guess any of them would have made me happy… I am already in love with my very own, white (pink urgh was the alternative) MZ and its cool, ‘pulsing’ blue leds…
