get my camera fixed

But this MUST be done soon! Summer is half over and i have soooo much i want to do and brining my camera with is a MUST also!! Not to mention I’ll need it on my Dallas trip! I’ll take it in this weekend…...Hopefully it won’t take too long to fix. My brother got his camera from the same place and they had to send it out to fix and it took almost a week. Gotta do this sooooon. I need my camera!!!

and the battery latch broke when the airport bag check dropped my bags and I taped it together but I have to hold it anyway because it doesn’t read the battery, and this often causes my camera to spontaneously turn on and off which is causing all sorts of weird inner dysfunctions like the shutter will stop working in the sunlight or whenever it’s hot, as does the review pictures mode. and sometimes after I take a picture the camera turns off, and I review it and the picture is gone!! HUHHHH lame.

i dropped my camera walking down the stairs of the seattle art museum. well, i fell…and it fell with me. so graceful. anyway, the door to the memory card cracked and now it doesn’t turn on because it doesn’t think the door is closed. of course, olympus.com doesn’t sell memory card doors, so i’ve been procrastinating sending it in to the repair center. but i am determined to get it fixed so i can take pictures of the beautiful nature that’s just blooming!

i bought a new (+better) camera!

i like the idea of this 43 things list.. i am getting a hell of a lot more done. kudos to the peeps that thought of this

took my camera back to the shop. shame i live in such a centralised country. they have to post it 500km to santiago to fix it. 20 days.

My Dad gave me his old 35mm SLR Canon. God i love that camera. The light meter doesn’t work. I took it in to the shop years ago and turns out it wasn’t really fixed. :( But with my procrastinating ways (the old me) I never took it back in. This time i will! I have a digital camera…and i want a digital SLR….but I really want to have my old baby fixed too!

My flash on my digital camera takes forever to recharge. Grrrrr!!! Time to take that in too.

WTH?

And occasionally more trouble than it’s worth. I won a camera that would normally cost 300 dollars new, used for 33…yay? Yes, yay, but the reason why I got it for such a low price is because the shutter was stuck. It’s actually quite common for the type of camera but all of the normal methods to fix it failed. Grr. So now I’ll take it to the camera shop or something, someday…soon.
