Win a photography competition

I entered this photo “Trouble in the Corner” in a contest and won a trophy for outstanding achievement.

I love taking pictures of everything. I want to learn more about film and cameras.

I just entered a competition, VICA, the other day, and things didnt go so well for me.. but then again.. it did. I forgot to bring my negative with me, so I had to improvise..I still got 23rd of 111 people and 3rd in the school of 9

I have submitted two of my favourite photos to a local photography competition and I am hoping to get some sort of recognition for my work. I have never done this before so I am trying to step outside of the box and take a risk.

I often get lazy after I’ve gotten “good enough” at something, which often means just becoming “the best” or “almost the best” among the people around me. It’s time to stop this attitude and focus the effort on improving myself beyond just being “the best photographer around (here).” I might not be good enough to win any real photography competitions, but aiming high will make me push harder.
