get cable

I got a roommate who got cable. My television now, first of all works properly, and I got a few cable channels on my set for free.

the DVR is worth it. I love being able to record and watch when I feel like it.

Got cable installed on Friday. Got the package with cable modem and digital phone. It’s like I’m living in Total Recall. Suffice to say, I like hanging out at home now. I get to watch the show EVERYONE is always talking about, and I get to watch all the cartoons I want. Basically, I’m a selfish person. But cable is great. Really.

but in a few days I WILL!!!!!!! After years of hearing what cool programs I had missed the night before, I will finally be up on as much useless pop culture trash knowledge as everyone else! I have a feeling that once I get it, the thrill will be over. Though not really. Cartoon network and random movies. NOW I’ll at least have something worth flipping through at 3 in the morning.

used to have it, but can’t afford it now. It’s been about 2 years since I had it. It’s not the most important thing, but I miss animal planet and discovery channel and TLC and a few others.

We signed up for the basic service plus a couple of other channels. That’s great beacause reception sucks in our apartment.

i just don’t want to pay for it. who has that kind of money? plus then, if i paid for it i’d feel like i’d have to watch it otherwise i’d be wasting money. oh the cycle!

My first apartment had cable for a while – methinks they forgot to disconnect it after the previous tennants moved out. You just have to flip though a whole lot more channels before you realize there’s nothing on.

It was a lot of work, but now I’ve got cable internet access from Earthlink and phone service from Vonage for about the same amount as I was paying AT&T just the phone service. Having cable also increases the value of my apartment, so this was a good move all the way around.

I painted the moulding, and some of the walls, today. The place is looking like new again.
