Hopefully not only a new chapter will begin in Colorado, but a whole new story as well. Life is ever changing and one never really knows what will happen, I can only hope that I learned from my old story enough to apply it to a new life and new begining.

“Colorado” keeps coming into conversation some how. My friend just randomly asked me to go yesterday. We have loose plans to move in one year, after my degree. How amazing of a move to make if we follow though with our plans.
I have been to CO twice in my life and have promised myself each time that I would move there someday. I just graduated from college and am back in my hometown. Being back has made me want to move to Colorado more than ever before! I am starting a job here but am planning on saving up so I can finally make the move. I just want to have the courage to make it happen!
i live in colorado and it is a very nice place but i must warn you it is very cold. this is me in colorado

but it looks beautiful and I love the sound of the weather! One day hopefully
To clarify, I would prefer to live in Denver or Boulder, for now…due to my line of work and personal preference, urban areas would offer more work and are more appealing to me at this point in my life.
Some things I am wondering about:
-I have grown attached to the funky shops, historic theaters, and neighborhoods of my city. I know this is an obstacle to overcome for anyone moving somewhere new, but if I can’t find places I enjoy patronizing, will I like it there?
-I like an artsy, alternative scene, and wonder if there is that type of culture…kind of goes with the previous line.
-I get tired of chain stores and like to support small and locally – owned businesses and restaurants, and I read peoples’ entries that there is some variety lacking in this arena…also goes with the previous concerns…hmmm.
-I can’t tolerate closed-mindedness and know CO to be more conservative in general, but areas of my state have a conservative reputation as well, and still you can always find the groups and organizations promoting tolerance, variety, progressive views, etc.
-I think it boils down to finding a place where you feel like you can fit in, adapt to, and enjoy living. I feel lucky that I might have that luxury to pick a place to take up residence. I have wondered if Colorado is that place for quite a while, but have yet to sack up and get on the horse, as my old roommate used to say.
Living in Colorado is something I have wanted to do since my first trip out there at 13 years old.
My main reasons:
Love the mountains
Love skiing
Love the outdoor culture there
Want to hang with mountain men
My uncertainties:
