become a makeup artist

Going through makeup courses arent fun, but when you are done, you are so proud of youself! It feels amazing! I got to do my first photoshoot yesterday! It went by so fast! It went terrific! I suggest you just go toward your goal of becoming a makeup artist, and you will succeed! Good luck, and remember,

I love make-up, which spawned my interest in Cosmetology which focuses more on hair but I hope to achieve this as well.

This only recently became very appealing to me as a career. I never really enjoyed it too much, the only make-up i’d wear would be eye-liner and lip-balm. But slowly slowly i started to find it more interesting and bought different eye shadows and products, and met a friend who put on a face-full of make-up everyday, and still looked natural. Now i practically do the same, and i imagine myself being a make-up artist. and it seems to be a fun job, stressful at times i’m sure, and til i get started it will be v difficult, but still a fun job i think. I start a 12 session coursse in a week. the certificates given at the end will make me a qualified make-up artist. yay :)

Just enrolled in the Makeup Institute! School starts March 1st.

Ive been interested in doing makeup for a long time, and i would love to do fashion makeup for magazines and runway shows. Hopefully someday i will be good enough to make some kind of career out of it.

My makeup Course finished last night.
I get sent my certificate in a few weeks and just have to hand in 1 more assignment that i have basically finished anyway.
My photoshoot went amazing and the next few months i am going to experiment with makeup as much as i can and take as many pictures as possible and gain lots of shots for my portfolio.
When i feel ready i will enroll in a special effects /drag makeup course.

I have the day off today, so im going to make the most of the time i have. I am going to finish at least 1 booklet from my folder, practise for my photo shoot, clean up my makeup kit.

12- do assignment
1- get food , organise stuff in diary
1.15- practise for photoshoot
1.45 -finish rest of shit in foler
3- clean up kit , have shower.

Only 2 WEEKS LEFT OF MY COURSE!

Although i dont think this is my purpose in life or whatever , i have become soo much better at makeup than i was too begin with! yay!
I will post piks of my final photoshoot soon

not too sure what i will do with my qualification..

i think i will just work on collecting photos and building up my portfolio for now and just experiment for a bit.

i just want to be great at it like a professional, but not necessarily as a full time job. i think i will achieve this goal pretty good! i have the passion and the talent.
