Sell everything I don't need to really simplify my life

I’m probably not going to be able to sell a lot of stuff, but I’m going to give it away or throw it out.

It’s not worth trying to make a scrap of money to make it worthwhile to get rid of stuff.

More valuable stuff/likeable stuff, I will try to sell online, but other than that it’s gone.

I’m getting rid of clothes I never wear today even if they still fit!

I really want to get rid of my TV and VHS tapes collection. It’s such a hassle to pack and carry and they’ll deteriorate anyways. I can’t seem to loan them or give them away either because nobody has a play. I have too many chairs. I may need them at my new house, but if not good by!

I want all or most of my furniture to folding, disassemblable, or negligibly small.

So I had my hard sale today. It didn’t go as well as I’d hoped. I made $60, but it hardly looked like I’d gotten rid of anything. I also tried to knock off another goal: sell my photography. I had framed prints of my photography and digital art. The only art that actually sold wasn’t mine, but just some other stuff I was sick of. Maybe that says something about my art?

I found a lady who is putting together a charity yard sale to benefit a wildlife rehab program so I’m just donating all the remaining stuff to her. That way I get rid of and it’s for a good cause. At least I’ll get some good karma coming my way, right?

Yay for getting rid of my junk!!!

And I’m having a yard sale on Saturday.

Over the years I’ve collected a lot of things.

Now I’ve discovered something better. Freedom.

It’s hard to be free when I have to haul all this crap around.

I’m having a yard sale in a couple of weeks before I move. It’s going to be so nice to simplify my life.
