I want to move to Oregon in the next 2 years. My dream is to have a small piece of land with a garden and small hobby farm. I currently live in Oklahoma and have for 20 years. There are only 4 corporate branches i have to choose from in Oregon. Since we do not want to live in or around Portland; we have narrowed our choice down to Corvallis. We plan to move before march of 2013. 12 months ago

I applied to Americorps!
Not just for moving to Oregon mind you but I want to do volunteer abroad and couldn’t afford it.
This way I can have the best of both worlds :)

I’m from Maine and fresh out of high school with no responsibilities, no plans and I dream thats been on the back of my mind since the 6th grade and thats to move to Oregon. The plan I’m making up now is to raise enough money and search for a job online and a room mate online as well. Until then i’ll live with my friend and her family for free, I need to move out of my house.
Have I been to Oregon?
no.
But from what I’ve heard from others living there and by looking it up online and other resources I’ve come to the conclusion that this is a place that i need to be, even for just a little while. 23 months ago
